Live Stream and RTSP Stream dead after one day

Postby bdbg » Sat Dec 01, 2018 6:07 pm

Hi all

I have a R26P (Camera type) AR0330 and use Livestream in Browser or Vbell App on iPhone to look at the RTSP stream.

After booting or starting R26P I can see the camera stream perfectly for about one day, the next day both streams (and also livestream in admin configurator) are black.

What can I do to keep the live stream always alive?

regards and thanks for help

Hi sir,

May I know what is the firmware version of your R26, please? Does our new firmware have the same issue? You can go to our forum-cloud to download the latest firmware for R26.
Also, does it have any warning when viewing the rtsp stream on Vbell when it is black?

If the problem still exits in the new firmware, could you please kindly send us the system log and take some screenshots to analyze this issue? Our email address is [email protected]
The steps to export the log
1. Go to "R26 Web-Upgrade-Advanced-System log" and change the log level to be 7.
2. Reproduce this issue (You can reboot the device and wait for the next day that the live stream turns to black again).
3. Go to "Web-Upgrade-Advanced-System log" and click "Export" to export the log.

Thanks&Best regards.

Hi Shirley

Thank you for the help.
First I had firmware 6.0.3.43 - livestream and RTSP dead after 2-3 days (white/black picture)
Second I upgraded to 26.220.3.203 (received from Cathy by eMail) - livestream dead after one night or earlier
Third I downgraded now to 26.31.3.225 an put the log on 7 as advised.

So I will give you feedback and the log-file as soon as the livestream dies again.

By the way: With 26.31.3.225 I get a empty configuration menu on Intercom/RTSP, so I can not configure or activate RTSP stream (?)
An other situation after the dead livestream: Response time of the R26 when entering admin is remarkably slower, after rebooting the device it is fast again.

Regards and thanks
clem

Hello sir,

" With 26.31.3.225 I get a empty configuration menu on Intercom/RTSP, so I can not configure or activate RTSP stream (?)"
Please clear browser cache and try it again, the new firmware still has the RTSP configuration.

Best regards.

Hello Shirley

1 or 2 hours after starting the livestream and RTSP Stream was dead with SW 26.31.3.225 (similar behavior as with 26.220.3.203). Log is in the attachment.

Kind regards
Clem

Hi sir,

Thank you for the information you provide.
We have released a new firmware (26.31.3.228) for you to test, you can download it from viewtopic.php?f=31&t=207&p=676#p676
After the upgrade, please go to Web-Upgrade-Basic to do Reset To Factory Setting and then change the system log to be 7.
If the problem still exits, please send us the system log.
Also, we will test the RTSP in the weekend.

Moreover, may I know what is your network environment, please? Does it use the direct IP mode or SIP mode? Does it connect to the LAN or public network? We will try to reproduce this problem and solve it.

Thanks&Best regards.

Dear Shirley
Thanks again for your help - R26 is upgrades to 26.31.328 - log is running with code 7.

My environment: Local privat network with AVM Fritzbox 7590. R26 is connected wired with PoE.
R26 runs perfect with local or external SIP Server except the problem that the live stream interrupts after some time (SIP and ringing works endless).
Log file follows after interrupt.

Kind regards
Clem

Hi Shirley

with 26.31.3.228 the situation is worse: livestream is dead after 1 - 2 hours - and login and editing in admin account ist extremely slow (10-20 seconds response time after entering field).

Longest livestream time is 1-2 days with SW 20.0.3.43.

Plse see the attached log.

Kind regards Clem

Hi Shirley

in the meantime I tested the http-livestream with setting "RTSP disabled" - now the live stream keeps alive all time. As soon as I enable RTSP the live stream is dead after 1-2 hours and the response time of the web-interface gets very slow.
So please check why I can not use RTSP.

Thanks
Clem
