Hi!
I'm actually facing some problems with ONVIF authentication. It worked before but stops working as i changed the credentials.
Are aware of that kind of problems?
I'm running Firmware version 26.0.2.201 on R26P H/W 26.1

Hi Carsten
for ONVIF feature, there is a default authentication with admin/admin, see PATH: Intercom->ONVIF.

did you also change the same credential on webpage of R26? if so , what is the issue of your ONVIF testing? any picture for details?

Thats my problem... I cant find any problem within the configuration... It worked on any ONVIF System, also with an android app but stopped working surprisely in between.
I just tried to change it again it seems there is a curious problem. Maybe i have to reset the r26p if you don't have another idea how i can test it?

I found the opensource tool "ONVIF Device Manager" when i try to login with this i get the message back: "Authetication expired"
Maybe some license issue in the background?
Also, i find a huge security bug! I can change the admin passwort through the ONVIF protocol with this tool without to be logged in!
Can you please check and fix this asap?

we are now certifying with ONVIF organization, and our demo version has been certificated by ONVIF, which means we will soon release the new software for all models which can pass the full ONVIF profile S. please wait for our further information.

Thank you for the response, Terry.
But i'm sorry; What do you mean? Are my thoughts right? What about the security issue?
What timeline do you expect?
Thanks,
regards,
Carsten

these two login info should be the same, if not, it may response "Authetication failed" or "Authetication expired".
we have already tested our products with ONVIF Device manager program, it seems to be working well.
so if you want to test the full ONVIF feature, you can wait for our coming release version, I think it will be ready soon, maybe in one or two weeks.
and if you only want our device to work will ONVIF Device manager, the current software should be OK, if not, please reset to the factory setting and try again.
hope this can help you out.

Hi Terry,
this is what i get, when trying to loigin through ONVIF Device Manager:
2018-01-31 15_51_28-ONVIF Device Manager v2.2.250.png
I'm 100% sure that the credentials are right!
I use Onvif Device Manager just for testing; Normally i use Synlogoy Surveillance Station to capture the camera picture. This worked with the mentioned firmware some time but stops without reason suddenly.
If i don't login in ONVIF Device Manager, i get this screen:
2018-01-31 15_54_54-ONVIF Device Manager v2.2.250.png
Here i can modify the logins without beeing authorized! The login here are the ones of the WebInterface of R26p!
Maybe there is a bug when changing the onvif credentials in r26p?

As I checked the firmware version No, 2.201 is only a demo version, it is not released yet.
I suggest you to download a release version to test again.

Hi Terry,
thank you for the new firmware. I downgraded. Now ONVIF Login is working from PVR but no picture:

I can also confirm that the security bug i mentioned above is not in firmware .144
When do you think you will provide the new full ONVIF compliant firmware? This would give the product a big step forward!
