Hands free intercom

Hi
I have a client who wants to purchase x8 + C317 or IT83 monitors and a R20
Can I set the intercoms to call or group call by voice only ? ( call hands free )
He seems to think we can but I cant see how in the IT83 manual.

Hello Paul,

Do you want R20 to group call C317 or IT83 at the same time? If so, you can go to the R20 website, on the path Intercom->Basic->Push button to configure the account here, when you press the push button on R20, it will call all accounts together. For the issue of voice only, you can disable the RTSP on R20(On path Intercom->RTSP->RTSP basic), and then it won't display the video in indoor units.

He wants to sit near the C317 or IT83 and hands free call another C317 or IT83. ( or possibly call all of them together )
Basically he want to call the bedroom from the kitchen without touching the screen

Hi Paul,
In Akuvox product, there is a Multicast function. You can use multicast paging to quickly and easily send the announcements to people within the multicast group. I've attached the manual for your reference
