Relay open incoming call

Postby BastelWastel » Mon Apr 01, 2019 11:57 pm

My configuration with R26C works fine so far.
If i get a call from the doorphone i can also open the door via Relay A by pressingthe predefinied DTMF digit.

I can also call the Doorphone from any internal client.
But when i try to open the door then it just ignores the DTMF digits.

Is there any option to activate this?
I'm not sure, but i have in mind with the initial FW (NON-Cloud) it worked.

Hi Dear Sir

DTMF will take effect while the session established, it doesn't matterr which direction you give the call.

Your description is strange , call from internal client, then DTMF not work?

May I know the R26C FW version you used, and the information of internal client you use to call the R26C, the firmware and model.

I will try here to see whether happened with your version.

I did some more tests.
Using FW 26.0.3.43 it works.
FW 26.31.4.110 & FW 26.31.3.238 it doesn't work.
Yes, calling from a client DTMF is ignored, Relay does not react.

For client i used an AVM Fritzbox+FritzFon and a Grandstream GXV3240.

Hi Dear Sir

Have you add the IP address of the client to R26C's push button list?

I think it is a bug of 26.0.3.43 ,the old version.

To make our device more security, at new version, we add a confirm at R26 side, only IP at R26's push button list can receive the DTMF.

So that no any device who know the IP address of R26 can trigger relay, it improve the security.

Hi Jim,

thanks for the hint!
This finally lead to the solution.
The FritzBox (DSL Router including. SIP Server) is sending the internal exentensions to the R26.
I had a call group on the Push Button list, but when i added the internal extensions separate it works now.
This shhould be documented somewhere! ;-)
And it would be better to have a seperate whitelist for this or more entries should be possible on the Push Button list.

Hello sir,

Thank you for your feedback, we will add the warning that the number cannot put in the same blank on our manual.
For now, our R26 can support set 8 number for the pushbuttons on the web. If you need more, you can set it on the autop configuration file, which can support 32 numbers.
Go to Upgrade-advance-Automatic Autop and click "Export” to export the autop file.
Find the corresponding codes, and enter the numbers, that should be separated by the semicolon.
Then go to Upgrade-advanced- Others, and import the file to the device.

Best regards,

hi, I also followed the indication and entered the list of ip on "Config.Programable.SOFTKEY01.Param1" but still does not seem to work, do you have a manual that explains this information? thank you
