R23C unable to read any card

Hello,
after hours of trial and error I'm giving up with 23C. What I expected was a change of the light when any card is hold in front of the area. Nothing happens so far. Tried several logs, no output there. Is there some magic to get the card information ? Why is there nothing documented ?
Can we debug the board with a console connection ? What is this tiny USB port for ?

Hi Sir,

R23/R26 supports 13.56MHz RF Card.

For how to use RF Card in R23/R26:
1. Enter the website, go to the path: Intercom - Card Settings interface;
2. Setup Card Status as Card Issuing, click Apply;
3. Choose the DoorNumber (R23/R26 can support to connect 2 doors) ;
4. Enter a name for the card;
5. Place the card in Card Reader Area;
6. Click Obtain;
7. After R26 read the card code, click Add, the card information will show in the Door Card Management list. Click Submit;
8. After configuration, change Card Status as Normal,click Apply to save. Then you can unlock with the card.

Hi Sir,

You can try Action URL to get the card number.

Configure it in the path: Phone-Action URL. First enable it, fill in the http command in the corresponding part, like open relay success(when open the door successfully via enrolled cards). The URL format is http://server IP address/help.xml?cardnumber=$card_sn.

Then use the card to open the door, it will send out card number.

Note: When you testing, your PC should open the HTTP server. Your PC and device should connect to a hub for capturing packets to checking whether you receive the needed massage or not.

When i use above manual, i always got 0 on the "IC Key Code" field.

Can I know which firmware do you test?
Which kind of card do you use? Mifare card? 13.56MHz?
Can you record a video for showing how you add cards?

i currently use Firmware 26.1.3.11, what i described on another post also. Strange that this version could not be found anywhere here.
I use a TOPAZ 512, 13,56MHz.
I followed exactly your instructions above.

Hi Sir,

R23 support Mifare S50/S70, Mifare light, MifareUltraLight, Mifare DESFire, Mifare Plus and Mifare Pro cards, etc.
Maybe you can change another card for testing.

I now tested using a Mifare Classic 1k and it worked.
