Remote Phonebook in R50

Hello,

We have 10 R50 IP Phones.
I want to make 5 remote phonebooks.
The current available firmware allows only two.

Can you help/advise me?

What did you mean by saying "5 remote phonebooks"?

Does "only two" means LDAP and Boradsoft?

May I know the exact scenario and where did you purchase our products please?

There was a firmware 50.0.3.something with 5 available slots for remote contacts

Is it possible to have here also 5 available slots?

It is a pity that it only supports up to 2 remote book URL even on the latest firmware.

May I know where did you purchased our products?

The phones are purchased from MTel. It's our phone and internet provider.

Hi,

Due to small RAM, it won't work well even we develop for 5 remote phonebook. It will affect other features.

Because it is to search the FTP server rather than download the phone book. So it will take a bit more RAM.

In this case, if we configured too many remote phonebook, it will cause slowly respond.

After test, up to 2 remote phonebook is the most suitable.
