StartTLS for E-Mail?

Hi,

is StartTLS on port 587 or SSL on port 465 to send the action emails from R26 supported?
I use the firmware: 26.0.3.40 and it doesn't seem so.

Hi, since the update to firmware version 26.0.3.102, the secure sending failed with the message:

Result:SSL connect error

on port 587. But the SSL certificate is valid till Dec. 5, 2018.

Any ideas?

Hi Andreas,

The version 26.0.3.43 is newest firmware in this forum, maybe you should use this firmware to have a try.

By the way, for TLS to work, the email delivery services of both the sender and the receiver always have to use TLS. Maybe you need to check it first.

This is not working for me also.
My mailprovider definitely supports TLS.
Strange is that FW 26.0.3.43 is still the latest Standalone one here, but i got my R26c delivered with 26.1.3.11.
This can be found nowhere but should be newer and emailencryption is not working.
