Hi Paul,
"Hello, can you please provide the wiring plan for the scenario which is descripe above by combeen?"
--> First, it is impossible to do based on current R26 unless change the hardware PCB. But it will be a long time and huge resoursed involved and need commerial condition.
Without an external power supply will save the cost, but it will bring potential security issues for the user. In our opinion, most of the locks are using Normal Open when the power supply is cut off, it is for security reasons.
if the electrical lock is powered by R26C, when someone wants to break into the house, what they need is to make the device go down. it is not hard, because the R26 doorphone is outside. So the additional power supply for lock is more security for the house owner.

Re: wireing plans
Hy all,
there's a possibilty to ring an external bell by one of the output relays with an action url:
--> Make Call: "http://localhost/fcgi/do?action=OpenDoor&UserName=Username&Password=Password&DoorNum=1"
So you can connect the external Bell on Relay 1 (or 2 if you change &DoorNum=2 in the URL).
The problem ist the Setting "Hang up after door open", because the time will also be triggered with the action url.
So it would be fine to have an option for select the Relay No on which the setting "Hang up after door open" works.
Maybe you can add the these fucntion in a future firmware?
In a former firmware the action URL does not trigger the time for the setting "Hang up after door open".
Kind Regard
Joerg

Hi Jörg, thanls for the info. It works propper beside the fact that the R26 hang up after open door signal .
Maybe Akuvox develop a fix to disable this hang up function.
Yours Paul
